The store says the women alleging sexual misconduct against Mohamed Al Fayed came forward after a BBC documentary aired.

Fayed has been accused of raping and sexually harassing scores of women, earning comparisons with high-profile sex offenders such as the Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein and US financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Harrods said the women came forward following the release of a BBC documentary last month, which uncovered years of sexual abuse allegations against former owner Mohamed Al Fayed (left).
