Gerard Butler’s blockbuster ‘Has Fallen’ franchise has landed on the small screen with the release of new series, Paris Has Fallen. Available to stream now, the eight-part spin-off takes the high-octane action of the films to the French capital as it’s threatened by a political conspiracy.

The official synopsis reads: “When a terrorist group led by the villainous Jacob Pearce attacks a high-profile event, with the French Minister of Defence as their target, protection officer Vincent Taleb finds himself working with street-smart MI6 operative Zara Taylor to save the day. But when events take a dark turn, Vincent and Zara soon realise that the plan extends beyond just one politician.

“When they suspect that one of their colleagues in the security services is feeding information to Jacob, Vincent and Zara find themselves needing to rely only on each other. Increasingly isolated and with Jacob always one step ahead, can this unlikely pair stop Paris from falling to a man hell-bent on vengeance?”

The new series stars an international cast including French actor Tewfik Jallab in the lead role as Vincent, alongside The Umbrella Academy’s Ritu Arya as Zara and Mission: Impossible’s Sean Harris as the villain, Jacob. It has been created and written by British writer Howard Overman, best known for creating E4’s BAFTA-winning sci-fi Misfits and more recently the 2019 TV adaptation of War of the Worlds.
