North Korean soldiers have clashed with Ukrainian forces for the first time, Kyiv's military officials have said.

Ukrainian troops have engaged with North Korean soldiers for the first time. The North Korean troops were recently deployed to help Russia in the war with its neighbour, Ukraine’s defence minister said Tuesday.

The quality of the North Korean force hired by Russia to deploy to the Ukrainian front is questionable. Their quantity alone, however, may be enough to break beleaguered Ukrainian defenses.
