HONOR Magic7 series confirmed to lauch globally… and soon
by Kristijan Lucic · Android HeadlinesThe HONOR Magic7 and Magic7 Pro handsets were announced yesterday in China. HONOR also revealed the Porsche Design HONOR Magic7 RSR phone’s design. With that being said, it was just confirmed that the HONOR Magic7 series will launch globally.
The HONOR Magic7 series smartphones will launch globally… it’s official
This is something everyone expected, as HONOR announced its Magic flagships globally every year. It doesn’t hurt to make it official, though, which is what the company’s global PR head just did. Bhavya Siddappa went to X to confirm it, and she also said that they’re coming to global markets soon.
It is worth noting that this launch event came around sooner than usual. The HONOR Magic6 series was announced back in January. Many people expected the Magic7 series to arrive in January 2025. However, HONOR wanted to get on board the Snapdragon 8 Elite train as soon as possible, as did many other companies.
The HONOR Magic7 and Magic7 Pro are true flagships. The ‘Pro’ model is a bit larger and has a more compelling camera setup. However, the vanilla model is considered a flagship too, as it’s immensely powerful.
The two phones have very compelling cameras and blazing fast charging
The two phones have three cameras on the back, and both of them include periscope telephoto cameras. They’re different, though. Both devices support 100W wired and 80W wireless charging and have LTPO AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits.
Android 15 also comes pre-installed on both of those phones. On top of it, you’ll find a new version of HONOR’s Android skin, MagicOS 9.0. It’s packed with AI features, as you’d expect. It remains to be seen which of those features will make their way to global markets, though.
HONOR also showed off the Porsche Design HONOR Magic7 RSR’s design during the event. That phone will also be coming to global markets. It will launch in December, though we’re not sure if that goes for both China and global markets, as it’s not yet official.
