You’re now able to peek inside the world’s first tri-fold smartphones. We are, of course, talking about the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design. This smartphone launched in China quite recently, and someone recently popped it open.

That video surfaced on TikTok, and it allows us to see the phone’s backplate getting peeled off, while it also shows us what lies inside. It was published by a TikTok channel ‘bebyz_hwang’.

You can see how neatly everything is arranged, while the split battery setup is also easily noticeable. Huawei really managed to make a huge achievement with this smartphone, needless to say.

It’s coming to global markets

The Huawei Mate XT managed to attract attention from the entire world since it launched. It launched only in China for now, but it’s coming to global markets in the first quarter of next year. That is something that an insider confirmed quite recently.

This smartphone provides you with a 10.2-inch 3K OLED display when it’s fully open. You can fold it once to get a 7.9-inch display or fold it entirely to be able to use a 6.4-inch panel. It’s easily the most versatile smartphone on the planet. You not only get a smartphone here, but both a small tablet and a large(er) tablet.

The Huawei Mate XT is immensely expensive in China. Its pricing starts at Well, it starts at CNY19,999, which translates to approximately $2,809. Despite that, however, the demand is extremely high.

Huawei actually increased sales projections, the company doubled them, according to a report. The sales estimates have risen from 500,000 to 1 million units sold by the end of the year.
