Air fryer used by Jamie Oliver is my go-to kitchen gadget for quick meals now under £100

I snapped up the Tefal Easy Fry Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer after seeing Jamie Oliver use it and it's now £80 off in Amazon Prime Big Deal Days

If you're in the market for a new air fryer, I wouldn't delay in upgrading to the Tefal Easy Fry Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer 8.3L as it has been discounted by 44% as part of Amazon Prime Big Deals Days. The limited-time offer sees the double-basket air fryer reduced from £179.99 down to £99.99.

With so many air fryers of varying prices on the market, it can be hard to know which one to go for, but I upgraded my old single-basket air fryer to the Tefal model earlier this year. Since then, it's been my most used kitchen gadget.

After doing some research and scouring reviews online, the Tefal Easy Fry Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer appealed to me initially thanks to its mid-range price point. In comparison, the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer 7.6L is £200, and the Dunelm 7.2L Flex Drawer Air Fryer is £90 at full price. Add to that the fact that professional chef Jamie Oliver used it on his Channel 4 programme Jamie's Air Fryer Meals, and I was sold.

The Tefal air fryer is essentially two air fryers in one, boasting two different sized drawers. You can either heat one drawer on its own, in turn saving energy costs or use both to cook multiple foods at once in varying ways. One really clever feature is you have the ability to sync the drawers together, ensuring everything is ready at the same time. I can put meat into the larger drawer at a higher temperature, vegetables that take less time in the smaller drawer, click sync, and the air fryer will work its magic so that both items cook simultaneously without me having to interfere.

The quality, speed, and crispness of the food the Tefal air fryer produces is exceptional. I've cooked all kinds of foods, from crispy chips to juicy meat, re-heating pizza, and even baking muffins, and it has quite literally never let me down. It has pre-set modes that you can choose from such as fish and fries, or you can manually adjust the temperature and time yourself. Granted, it is a little more complicated to use than my previous air fryer, but it only took me a couple of tries to get the hang of it and you definitely don't need to be super tech-savvy to get the best out of it.

When it comes to washing the air fryer, I just remove the drawers and pop them in the dishwasher or hand wash them. I've never struggled with foods sticking to the inside of the drawers, plus the removable trays inside the baskets easily slot in and out. The appliance is on the large side so you do need a bit of space on your kitchen counter, but I think it looks pretty sleek, so I don't mind leaving it out on show. If you're really struggling with counter space, you might want to opt for a vertical double-stack air fryer instead - Ninja's Double Stack 2-Drawer Air Fryer 7.6L is £229.99.

Ultimately, since upgrading to the Tefal Easy Fry Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer, I very rarely use my oven as it cooks food way quicker, and I find it to be a lot tastier. Like most air fryers, it is also cheaper to run than my oven and as I tend to cook for just one or two people, the dual basket with a 8.3L capacity means I have more than enough room. I bought the Tefal Air Fryer at full price and I would still do the same, so now it's less than £100, it's a deal well worth considering.
