The PS5 Pro is here - this is the cheapest place to buy the console right now

The PS5 Pro is out today to the joy of gamers everywhere. If you're willing to cough up a large sum of money to get the best console Sony has to offer, we've scoured the deals for the cheapest price.

EE offers a plan at a cheaper price than Sony's own site. The PS5 Pro is the next iteration of the console from Sony with a 2TB SSD, as well as one DualSense controller and a copy of Astro's Playroom built into the system.

It comes with a bigger GPU, Advanced Ray-Tracing and AI-driven upscaling to help improve framerates and visual quality - but comes in with a big price tag that costs £699 in the UK. Experts over at TechRadar have given the console four out of five stars for the console, praising the enthusiast-grade console for its graphics, storage and new tech which makes your games look even better.

But that price tag is a stinger. But if you still want the console and want to best price possible, EE might have the best price around. That's because it is selling it £695 on the store which will save you a few pounds compared to other retailers.

They also have bundles that you can choose from including 12 months worth of PS Plus Premium and spare controllers so you can game with your friends or family. EE even lets you spread the cost out per month if you don't like the idea of ponying up £700 for the new device.

Remember as well for Brits who have PS5 discs, you'll need a disc drive for them to play on the PS5 Pro. The issue is most stores are sold out at the moment so you can try and find one on eBay.

But if you want to shop elsewhere for a PS5 Pro and want next day delivery, Amazon is selling the console right here for £699 - perfect if you have Amazon Prime and want it delivered asap. If not there are other deals on rival consoles available, if you want to avoid the PS5 Pro offputting high price.
