iPhone 16 deal is almost too good to be true thanks to epic iD Mobile offer

If you've been waiting for a great iPhone deal, this might be your chance

The iPhone 16 has landed and if its hefty price tag and steep monthly contract costs are giving you second thoughts, this iD Mobile deal might just be the ticket.

You can snag the latest iPhone 16 for a mere £29.99 per month on a plan from Mobiles.co.uk, with an upfront cost of £179.99 - but there's a trick to shave £20 off that initial payment.

By applying the code VCUPGRADE20 at checkout, you'll reduce the upfront cost to £159.99, bringing the total cost over the 24-month period to £858 - only marginally more than buying the phone outright.

The contract includes 10GB of data and unlimited texts/minutes, offering a reasonable monthly cost for the top-tier iPhone currently available. If 10GB doesn't cut it, iD Mobile also offers slightly pricier contracts with more data.

Our sister paper the Daily Express tested the iPhone 16 through its paces and awarded it an almost perfect score. Their only gripe was the 60Hz screen technology but that's our sole complaint this year.

The iPhone 16

The iPhone 16 is a no-brainer for anyone considering an upgrade, especially as it's one of the few devices set to receive Apple Intelligence later this year. It boasts a bold new design, features the Action and Camera Control buttons, and is powered by the lightning-fast A18 processor and enhanced rear cameras.

The robust design should also help maintain its pristine appearance for longer, and it comes equipped with Wi-Fi 7, eSIM technology for a quicker set-up (most UK networks now provide this service) and the latest iOS 18 operating system.

There's no price hike in 2024, the wireless charging is faster and there's a larger battery inside which means you won't have to fret about things running out of juice.

So yes, aside from that screen complaint, this is the ultimate iPhone upgrade that comes highly recommended.

But if you want an alternative, Sky has some of the most affordable prices on the market - but be aware: these are long 36-month contracts. It is offering the iPhone Pro from £33 a month not including the airtime plan.
