Argos shoppers dash to grab cheap iPhones as surprise Black Friday deal confirmed

Argos has started its Black Friday deals early and there's already an iPhone up for grabs at a cheaper price.

Black Friday won't officially start until November 29 but that's not stopping some retailers from kicking things off early. Currys has already announced some of its discounts - which include money off vacuum cleaners, air fryers and TVs - and now Argos is joining the price-cut party. The popular high street retailer has confirmed a number of early bird Black Friday offers and one that stands out from the crowd is a massive - and very rare - cut to Apple's iPhone.

The surprise offer is clearly proving popular with Argos confirming that it is currently "selling fast" and "in demand".

The new deal means you can pop the iPhone 12 in your shopping basket for just £399 - that's £100 off the usual £499 Argos price and 20% cheaper than buying from stores such as John Lewis.

This iPhone might be an older model than the current iPhone 16 but it still packs quite a punch.

Owners get features that include a bright 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR screen, fast A14 Bionic processor and a toughed design to help avoid cracked and smashed displays.

On the rear there's a dual-lens camera, it gets wireless charging, 5G compatibility and long battery life.

It comes in four colours although only the Purple, Green and White are available at the discounted price.
