This deal is an early Black Friday promotion only and is set to end on November 20 at 5pm - so it's not worth waiting to see if you can get a cheaper price, in this instance. The Sengled Smart Plug enables automation of your non-smart devices and home appliances. Users can control devices remotely and set schedules through the Sengled Home app, or use your voice to control your device through Alexa.

Amazon's Echo Dot (5th generation) with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth smart speaker and Alexa Is a compact Bluetooth smart speaker with Alexa. The Amazon speaker features a full sound that's ideal for bedrooms, kitchens and small spaces.

The Echo Dot speaker has an impressive rating of 4.7 out of five on the Amazon website, and has had more than 27,830 five-star ratings. Shoppers have been impressed by the 'premium quality' sound it produces, while others say it's 'handy' for helping with everyday tasks.

One Amazon customer raved: "The Dot feels really premium, the sound is excellent when you consider the price, and mine came with a phillips hue bulb for just £5 more. We have Alexas in almost every room in our house now, and when really utilized properly they can make your house feel very high tech.

"Linking the speakers for example, to play the same song in different rooms of the house, is excellent for gatherings. Pairing bulbs to turn the lights on and off is handy but admittedly a little clunky. We even play games on the alexa, such as guess the tune/voice, and escape room games.

"Recipies in the kitchen on the echo Show is a great addition too. The only caveat I can give is that it needs an amazon music premium subscription, or it will really annoy you when you ask for a song and it doesn't play it.

"However, I only buy these dots when they are on sale, a few times a year (Prime Day, Black Friday, random sales) and the price is much much more affordable then and I really cant complain about them at all for the price I am getting them for. If you don't mind subscribing to prime music (which is also very good, I might add) then I really recommend having at least one of these in your home."

A second said: "This Alexa dot has great sound quality as well as a pleasing stylish look. It has great speech recognition, meaning you can ask it anything, and it replies instantly. Once connected to your Amazon account, The Alexa app unlocks a whole host of useful and nifty features such as: Connecting to other devices, setting up timers and alarms."

A third raved: "I can't believe the sound quality compared to anything for such a small device. I don't need the sound bouncing out at 110db. Just quiet quality sound. I would highly recommended this to anyone. I am seriously considering replacing my Alex for an additional one of these."

Somebody else added: "To replace older dot in bedroom and use older dot as a kitchen aid. This new dot is sharper and has full tones which is lovely to hear. nice to look at and fairly easy to set up."
