2025 Honda Amaze is expected to go on sale in the coming weeks and it will feature a plethora of cosmetic updates and a new interior

Honda Cars India has today released the first teaser image for the third-generation Amaze. Since its debut in India in 2013 and the subsequent launch of the second-gen in 2018, the Amaze has been a runaway success for the Japanese auto major. The upcoming compact sedan will look to double down on its appeal as it will be a major overhaul compared to the outgoing model.

The brand has not revealed any more information besides releasing the teaser and we will have to wait patiently. However, it comes hot on the heels of Maruti Suzuki announcing the commencement of pre-bookings for the fourth-generation Dzire ahead of its market launch on November 11. It is more than apparent that both models will revitalise their rivalry with brand new iterations.

The 2025 Honda Amaze will toil for the spotlight against not only the forthcoming Dzire but models like the Hyundai Aura and Tata Tigor as well. The teaser sketch divulges the existence of a new design language in line with Honda’s sedans sold in the international markets, especially the Accord. The redesigned front end comes with new double-beam LED headlamps with an L-shaped LED DRL sitting on top.

Honda has opted to go with a sportier theme this time around as the new grille openings with hexagonal inserts add to the flare. The bonnet section is also muscular probably adapting a clamshell-shaped structure for a more serious look while the front bumper and fog lamp housings are also new and more prominent. These are the depictions from the teaser sketch though as the final production model could be slightly toned down.

Commenting on the release of the teaser, Takuya Tsumura, President & CEO, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, “The Honda Amaze has always been a special product for us and our customers in India. As a pioneer in premium styling for entry sedans, the Honda Amaze has always set the standard for design and sophistication in its segment. With the 3rd generation, we are excited to take this to the next level, offering our modern Indian customers an enhanced premium package like never before.”
