The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado re-entered the U.S. market late last year with a bold new look and a more accessible price tag. Following a nearly three-year hiatus, the Land Cruiser returns ready to take on competitors like the Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler. The updated design draws inspiration from the upscale Lexus GX and is expected to launch in India sometime next year via CBU route.
It could make its local debut at the 2025 Auto Expo in January. The new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado’s retro-inspired design is emphasized by its boxy, upright shape, giving it a rugged yet classic appeal. Offered in multiple trim levels, this model comes with standard 18-inch wheels fitted with all-weather tyres. For those looking for an even bolder road presence, an upgrade to 20-inch wheels is available globally.
The entry-level LC 1958 brings a retro-styled grille while the mid-spec model nods to the FJ62 with its classic rectangular headlights. The top-tier trim features exclusive details that set it apart. For a tougher, off-road-ready look, the 2024 Land Cruiser First Edition comes with wider wheels and additional adventure-oriented features. It’s still unclear which of these trims will make their way to India.

The SUV comes in seven exterior shades: Black, Meteor Shower, Ice Cap, Wind Chill Pearl, Underground, Trail Dust, and Heritage Blue with the latter two offering a contrasting roof choice. It boasts dimensions of 4,920 mm in length, 2,139 mm in width, and 1,859 mm in height, alongside a wheelbase of 2,850 mm and a ground clearance of 221 mm.
