TSB banking app and website down leaving thousands unable to access accounts

TSB has been experiencing widespread outages this morning

Thousands of TSB customers have been experiencing problems accessing their online accounts today due to a significant technical glitch. The outage has primarily affected the use of the bank's mobile app and internet banking website, with reports coming in from 8am on Thursday, October 10.

More than 2,100 incidents have been reported on Down Detector, which tracks website issues.

TSB acknowledged the disruptions via a statement on their official X social media account (formerly Twitter), saying: "We're sorry that some of our customers are facing problems accessing our services this morning.

"Our teams are working to resolve this."

Anguished customers have voiced their frustration on social media platforms, with one disgruntled user highlighting on X: "Still not working today, same problem as everyone else has posted here, cannot login to Internet banking website using browser. Session token error message, repeated cookie pop ups and logs me out when I click on anything. Please advise how this can be fixed as soon as possible," reports the Mirror.
