Virgin Media Black Friday deals include three months free and £237 saving

Virgin Media has unveiled its 2024 Black Friday deals three weeks ahead of the November 29 date, offering significant savings for TV and broadband enthusiasts. This coincides with the launch of offers from competitor Sky.

Virgin Media's free broadband offer is particularly noteworthy - providing a £0 price tag on its fibre broadband plans, including the combined TV and fibre broadband bundles. This is an offer yet to be matched by Sky or BT, with customers receiving the first three months of their plan completely free.

For the initial three months, Virgin Media will waive your monthly bill, with the first payment due in the fourth month of the 18-month plan. The deal applies to six fibre broadband plans: M250, M500, Gig1, the Bigger Bundle + Movies M350, Biggest Bundle M500+, and Biggest Bundle Gig1 plan.

Customers can expect to save at least £86.97 (on the smallest M250 plan), with the most substantial saving available on the Biggest Bundle plan - a precise saving of £237. Prices range from £28.99 per month to £84.99 per month - this large price difference includes some plans which bundle in TV streaming along with the broadband too.

• M250 Full Fibre - save £86 then pay £28.99 per month
• M500 Full Fibre - save £99 then pay £33 per month

• Bigger Bundle + Movies M350 - save £182 then pay £60.99 per month
• Bigger Bundle M500+ - save £237 then pay £79 per month
• Biggest Bundle Gig1 - save £147 then pay £84.99 per month

Full details of what's included in each plan can be found on Virgin Media's website. The broadband and TV bundles offer over 200 TV channels, including Sky Cinema HD and Sky Sports, depending on the chosen plan.

While its broadband is highly recommended, there are also some notable mobile deals to consider. One that particularly stands out is the £920 saving on the Galaxy S24 phone at O2 on a 48-month plan.

Elsewhere, Sky's Black Friday offers also give customers the chance to save hundreds on TV packages, broadband and mobile plans. The sale is now live with significant discounts on Sky TV, Sky Glass and superfast Sky Broadband.

Shoppers can secure a tempting £168 discount on a TV and Netflix bundle, or get 150Mbps broadband for its 'lowest ever price'. The plan is now available for £19 a month, down from the usual £26, saving members £168 over the 24-month term and the package comes with a new Sky Stream box, Sky's plug-in-and-play device that streams live and on-demand content over WiFi without the need for a satellite dish.
