Players yet to unlock the Inscryption achievements can now check out the indie gem via Game Pass, as Inscryption joins Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass today, leaving our list of upcoming Game Pass games. If you're yet to check out Daniel Mullins Games' creepy card game, this spooky season is the perfect time.

Inscryption now available with Game Pass Ultimate, Standard, and PC

Developed by Daniel Mullins Games, Inscryption is described as an "inky black card-based odyssey" featuring a collectible deck of woodland creature cards you acquire by "draft, surgery, and self-mutilation." It's set in a dark, creepy world filled with secrets and cloaked in mystery, blending deckbuilding roguelike gameplay with psychological horror and escape-room-style puzzles. It's a visual treat that keeps you gripped as you explore Leshy's Cabin, uncovering its dark secrets.

When Inscryption first launched on PC in 2021 it was an instant hit, and its arrival on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One in 2023 saw the indie game receive equal praise — it currently holds an impressive 4.5/5 TrueAchievements community rating. Now it's available for even more players, joining the Xbox Game Pass Standard, Game Pass Ultimate, and PC Game Pass libraries.

Inscryption is the perfect game for cozy nights wrapped up under a blanket during the spooky season, but if you want something a little lighter, take a look at our list of the best Autumn Xbox games for some brilliant games featuring crunchy leaves and woodland treats.

While the Game Pass library has grown with the addition of Inscryption, the service will lose five games on October 15.
