Game Pass adds three Xbox games today, including two StarCraft titles

Game Pass members can dive into three more games today, as StarCraft: Remastered, StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection, and Metal Slug Tactics join Xbox Game Pass.

Although we've yet to see the Metal Slug Tactics achievements arrive, and neither of the StarCraft games feature achievements, we can knock three more games off our list of upcoming Game Pass games today. StarCraft: Remastered, StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection, and Metal Slug Tactics join Xbox Game Pass for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.

Xbox Game Pass adds two StarCraft games and Metal Slug Tactics today

StarCraft: Remastered packs in the original 1998 real-time strategy game and its Brood War expansion, upgrading both experiences with visuals and audio improvements for a vibrant battle for supremacy in the Koprulu Sector. Playing as the Terrans, Protoss, or Zerg, the campaign features over 50 missions to fight through, or you can take your skills online for some head-to-head or co-op fun.

As for StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection, there are over 70 missions to play through across the main Campaign and the Wings of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm, Legacy of the Void, and Nova Covert Ops expansions. It continues to be a popular strategy game on PC, featuring challenging co-op scenarios each week with various gameplay mutators, ranked ladders for competitive play, and a co-op Commander mode for even more action.

Metal Slug Tactics, however, takes the classic arcade fun of the Metal Slug series and infuses tactical RPG and rogue-like elements for a unique spin. The campaign sees you assemble a team of soldiers to defeat the Rebel Army using a mixture of strategic moves and extreme firepower, using XP to unlock new weapons and tactical skills as you progress — just be prepared to face "countless deaths" along the way!

StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection are only playable on PC and available for PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Metal Slug Tactics can be played on cloud, console, and PC via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

If you're looking for even more games to play with your subscription, Microsoft has revealed the games joining Game Pass libraries in the first half of November.
