Xbox Game Pass confirms MechWarrior 5: Clans as day-one addition

We've got another Game Pass addition arriving this month, as MechWarrior 5: Clans has been confirmed as an Xbox Game Pass day-one title.

MechWarrior 5: Clans debuts new gameplay ahead of Game Pass launch

"In MechWarrior 5: Clans, you assume the role of a young pilot freshly graduated from training on Huntress, the Smoke Jaguar homeworld. As a vital member of a five-mech squad, known as a 'Star,' you find yourself thrust into the heart of the Clan Invasion of the Inner Sphere," the MechWarrior 5: Clans team says. The trailer makes no mention of Game Pass, just of an Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PS5 release date of October 17, but a press release confirms the action game will join the service on day one.

On the other hand, while we've got a nice new October Game Pass release to look forward to, Football Manager 25 has delayed its Xbox Game Pass release and will arrive in March 2025 instead of next month.
