PS5 Pro pre-orders: Where to buy new console including Amazon, Argos and Currys

It's being released next month

If you're looking for the perfect Christmas gift for gamers, then there's good news from PlayStation - as the PS5 Pro is now available to pre-order from all retailers, ahead of its release next month.

The new console has been open for pre-orders exclusively from Sony for the last two weeks, but as of yesterday (October 10), you can now place orders at all retailers including GAME, Amazon, Argos, Smyths, Currys, and Very.

The PS5 Pro is the latest console from Sony, and is set to be released next month on November 7, ahead of the festive season. It comes with a 2TB SSD, a DualSense controller, and a built-in copy of Astro's Playroom.

It also boasts an enhanced GPU, Advanced Ray-Tracing, and AI-driven upscaling, for improved framerates and visual quality. However, perhaps unsurprisingly, all this doesn't come cheap - and the PS5 Pro will set you back a hefty £699 in the UK.

If this doesn't deter you, and you're in the market for a new console, there are numerous places where you can pre-order the PS5 Pro and potentially spread the cost, depending on your chosen retailer.

Many of the available retailers will charge at different times depending on the store's policies, and some stores offer payment plans so you won't need to feel the pain of £700 coming straight out of your account, Birmingham Live reports.

The PS5 Pro also does not have a disc drive like its previous iterations, so if you have discs that you plan to play from your old PS5 console, you will need to invest in a disc drive for an extra £100. This can be bought from HMV or other retailers.
