The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) has opened registration for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2025. Aspirants can register on the official UCEED website (uceed.iitb.ac.in) starting today, October 1, 2024 on the official website, with registrations closing on October 31, 2024, without any late fees. As per the information, the registration link will be activated from 1pm onwards. The UCEED 2025 exam is scheduled to take place on January 19, 2025, from 9 am to 12 pm, in a single shift.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times, and both attempts must occur in consecutive years. The UCEED score is only valid for one year. To be eligible, candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 2000, for OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL categories, or on or after October 1, 1995, for SC/ST/PwD categories.

Candidates must have appeared for their Class 12 (or equivalent) exam for the first time either in 2024 or 2025. Students who completed Class 12 before 2024 are not eligible for UCEED 2025. The exam is open to students from all streams, including science, commerce, and humanities.

  • Click on the highlighted link tab available on the homepage
  • Provide necessary details such as name, email ID, and mobile number for new login
  • Fill in the application form
  • Upload all the important documents
  • Click on submit
  • Download it and take a printout for future reference.

After the UCEED 2025 exam, IIT-Bombay will release provisional answer keys, followed by the final key and cutoff. UCEED, conducted by IIT-B under the UCEED-CEED Implementation Committee, facilitates admissions to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme at IITs across 27 cities in India.
