The e Vitara will be Maruti Suzuki's first electric vehicle.

The international-spec e Vitara has two battery options -- 49kWh and 61kWh. While the former only has 2WD, the latter gets both 2WD and 4WD choices. We expect the India-spec model to be available in all the variants.
You will be able to see the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara in India in production-ready avatar at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January 2025.
When the e Vitara was unveiled in India in 2023 in concept form, the eVX, Maruti Suzuki said that it will have a range of over 500km on a single full charge.
Depending on the battery and drive system, the e Vitara has three motor choices -- 106kW/189Nm motor, 128kW/189Nm motor, and 135kW/300Nm motor.
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is 4,275mm long, 1,800mm wide and 1,635mm tall. It has a 2,700mm long wheelbase, while the ground clearance is 180mm.
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara rivals in India will be the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, BYD Atto 3 and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV.
