Huawei Mate XT: Key specs

Display and design: The world's first smartphone with dual hinges and three screens features a 6.4-inch OLED display when closed. However, its real innovation shines when it's unfolded. The display expands to 10.2 inches (2,232 x 3,184) when fully opened, with an intermediate 7.9-inch size available when partially unfolded. When completely unfolded, the device transforms into a tablet-like screen and is just 3.6mm thick, making it one of the slimmest phones available.

Huawei has incorporated advanced technology into this smartphone, featuring an ultra-durable laminated structure and non-Newtonian fluid. The phone's dual-hinge design includes an inner hinge that handles compression forces and an outer hinge that resists tension, enabling seamless one-way movement and stable positioning of the foldable display.

Camera: The camera system on the Mate XT is also high-end. It features a 50-megapixel rear camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 5.5x optical zoom support. There is also an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies, placed within the punch-hole cutout.

Battery: The company has also revealed that the device packs a 5,600mAh silicon carbon battery. It supports 66W wired charging support and 50W wireless charging. According to the company, it is the world's thinnest battery ever used on a smartphone world-wide.

Processor: The Huawei Mate XT is equipped with a variant of the Kirin 9000S chip, the same in-house processor powering the Mate 60 Pro+ flagship. Additionally, the device is confirmed to run on HarmonyOS 4.2.
