GeForce NOW is back with another slate of new games this week and that includes Frostpunk 2. While the list of newly added titles isn’t a massive one this time around, there are some really quality titles to enjoy. One of those is Final Fantasy XVI. This was originally released on the PS5 exclusively back in 2023. A demo was made available for the game back in August, and the PC version of the game officially launched on September 17.

If you haven’t played the demo yet, this is also available to stream on GeForce NOW. So you can install the demo via Steam and check it out for free. If you end up liking it, you can pick up the full version and stream that too. Plus, it’s even possible to transfer your save from the demo to the main game.

Frostpunk 2 will be available on GeForce NOW on September 20

If you’ve been looking forward to Frostpunk 2, you won’t have to wait much longer to play it. The game officially releases on September 20 for PC through Steam. It will also be available for Xbox and Xbox Game Pass. Plus, you can stream the game via GeForce NOW even if it’s the Xbox copy you own, or if you get access through the Game Pass subscription.

Frostpunk 2 is a strategy city builder that will have you building up your city and society after a massive global apocalyptic event. Your job will be to help grow and expand the city to meet the needs of its citizens. The citizens need to have food and be able to stay warm during the never-ending winter that has befallen the planet. The city will need resources to keep things running. You will be the one thing holding this all together to ensure the city’s survival.

Five more games will be available to play this week

Final Fantasy XVI and Frostpunk 2 are this week’s biggest games for GeForce NOW. But, there are still a few more games to stream if you feel like something different. The Plucky Squire, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven, The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak, and REKA should all now be available to play. Naturally, if want the best experience for the two most demanding games, Frostpunk 2 and Final Fantasy XVI, you’ll want to subscribe to that GeForce NOW Ultimate membership.
