Joel Embiid signs $192.9M extension with Philadelphia 76ers

Sept. 20 (UPI) -- The Philadelphia 76ers signed All-NBA star center Joel Embiid to a three-year extension worth $192.9 million, a source familiar with the pact told UPI on Friday. The pact will keep Embiid under contract through 2028-29.

Embiid confirmed the signing Friday on Instagram. The 76ers also announced the multi-year extension, but did not disclose the terms of the deal.
