Ollie Palmer drops massive hint Ryan Reynolds' Wrexham have just signed his son
by Liam Randall · Wales OnlineOllie Palmer has dropped a massive hint that Wrexham have signed his son up to their youth system.
The striker has been a regular fixture for the Red Dragons since joining them in January 2022 for a then-club record fee of £300,000, forming a strong partnership with star forward Paul Mullin.
The 32-year-old was recently rewarded for his performances for the team owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney with a contract extension until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Palmer has made 14 appearances for Wrexham in all competitions during their current campaign, scoring twice, as Phil Parkinson's side sit third in League One.

The player has now shared clues on social media indicating that his son Vinny is about to follow in his father's footsteps.
The Instagram post includes a picture of the seven-year-old fully kitted out in Wrexham training gear outside the club's academy training base at Colliers Park in the village of Gresford.
The target man included several tell-tale emojis, including a pen and paper and the sideways eyes icon, as well as tagging in the club's official Instagram account.
While the north Wales outfit has yet to officially confirm the signing, Palmer regularly shares videos of his son playing football on social media.
After signing a new deal last month, he revealed how Wrexham has become a "home away from home" for him and his family, despite keeping a base in Surrey.
He told the club's official website: “I’m delighted to sign a new contract. Wrexham has become a home away from home for me and my family and my kids love coming to Wrexham more than anything.
“The fans have been unbelievable with me since I walked through the door, and I’ve met some great people not just at the club but outside of it too.
“We’ve made some great memories and I’m looking forward to making many more. It’s been a good start to the season, and the key now for us is to push on together.”
Palmer has previously discussed how he initially lived in a hotel after agreeing to join Wrexham from AFC Wimbledon, with his loved ones staying down south.
He later had a chance meeting with a family who had also just moved to the area and invited him to stay with them, leading to him setting up his own clothing brand with one of them.
WXM Clothing has since sold thousands of items worldwide and the brand is regularly worn by Reynolds and McElhenney - who Palmer said had gone "above and beyond" in their support of the venture.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with MirrorFootball last year, he said: “He (Reynolds) FaceTimed me when I was in Vegas and we were chatting and he went out to get his breakfast in my clothes. He doesn't wear it just for show - he actually enjoys wearing them. They know it's good quality and they've been super supportive; I can never thank them enough for that.”
