Dak Prescott’s injury much worse than Cowboys thought as season teeters
· New York PostThe season is getting late early for the Cowboys.
Quarterback Dak Prescott is slated to “miss multiple weeks” with a hamstring injury sustained during Sunday’s loss to the Falcons, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.
“In fact, this is not looking like a short-term injury,” Rapoport added.
Longtime Cowboys backup Cooper Rush is expected to get the start for the Cowboys next week against the Eagles.
The Cowboys have lost three games in a row to drop to 3-5 and now have an even deeper hole to dig out of this season.
