Mets vs. Braves prediction: Look for a sweep in huge doubleheader

· New York Post

Let’s see if I have this right.

If the Mets win Game 1 of their doubleheader in Atlanta, they will clinch a playoff berth. No champagne. If they lose, they can still punch their ticket by winning Game 2. Yes, champagne.

If they win both games, they eliminate the hated Braves and allow the Snakes to slither in the back door. Lots of champagne. If they lose both games, their next game will be in Florida. In February.

I haven’t been this excited since my mom yelled “BINGO” at the church bazaar.

Pitching probables. Tylor Megill vs. Spencer Schwellenbach in Game 1. Luis Severino vs. Chris Sale in Game 2. Again, probables. No matter who pitches, we will take the Mets in both games for $50.
