“Squid Game” centers on a mysterious survival game with a reward of 45.6 billion won (approximately $33 million) on the line. Season 2 picks up with Seong Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae), who gave up on going to the United States to pursue his own goals linked to the deadly game he won in Season 1.
The newly released trailer begins with the sound of an alert and shows Gi Hun waking up with a look of intense frustration in his eyes. Gi Hun then cautiously approaches a door with a gun, and as the door opens to reveal the Front Man, the atmosphere shifts dramatically.
The trailer continues with upbeat music, introducing the Pink Guards performing their roles within the world of Squid Game. A giant piggy bank fills with bundles of cash, and the caption “Are you ready?” appears, signaling that the game preparations are complete. The trailer also features dynamic shootout scenes and ends with Gi Hun, wearing the green tracksuit numbered 456, further amplifying anticipation for the new dynamic story that will unfold.
