Chelsea will face London rivals West Ham United in the early kick-off later today, with the Blues looking to pick up back-to-back wins in the Premier League.

Christopher Nkunku's 86th-minute goal was all that separated Chelsea and Bournemouth in the Blues' last Premier League outing, with Robert Sanchez also saving a penalty in a 1-0 win on the road. With Chelsea not in any European action this week, they've had a week to recover and prepare ahead of a tough trip to the London Stadium later today.

The last meeting between Chelsea and West Ham saw the Blues win 5-0 at Stamford Bridge, with Nicolas Jackson scoring twice in an emphatic victory. Reece James and Malo Gusto both remain out, meaning Axel Disasi is set to start at right-back once again.

So, can Chelsea pick up a big three points this weekend? Let's take a look.

To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that the Irons could line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Areola; Wan-Bissaka, Mavropanos, Kilman, Coufal; Alvarez, Rodriguez; Bowen, Paqueta, Kudus; Antonio

We predict that Chelsea could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Sanchez; Disasi, Fofana, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Madueke, Palmer, Neto; Jackson.

Chelsea started on the back foot in east London, with the hosts enjoying the majority of possession while having a few shots on goal in the first half. The Blues had Robert Sanchez to thank for not going into the break behind, with the 'keeper making a couple of top saves to keep Chelsea in the game.

Enzo Maresca made a few changes before the hour mark as he looked to try and get some control of the game, with Jadon Sancho, Joao Felix, Nkunku, and Renato Veiga all being introduced. The latter came close to making an instant impact as he headed onto the post from a corner, but eventually, they took the lead.

Sancho made a darting run in behind the West Ham defence from the left, and he was picked out by Enzo Fernandez with a killer through ball. Sancho's shot was well saved by Alphonse Areola but straight into the path of Nkunku, and the Frenchman made no mistake with his finish as he fired into the corner of the net.

The final 15 minutes saw West Ham throw everything at the Blues, but Maresca's side held out for a big three points on the road.
