Latest Chelsea injury news with updates on Noni Madueke, Levi Colwill, Reece James and more after the draw with Nottingham Forest

Chelsea will now look ahead to after the international break before they return to Premier League action. The Blues had to settle for a point in the 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon at Stamford Bridge.

Chris Wood had opened the scoring for the visitors before Noni Madueke equalised for Chelsea in the second half. Chelsea will now see several members of their squad travel across the globe to feature for their national teams during the two-week international hiatus.

Enzo Maresca has been forced to deal with several injury concerns in his first season as Chelsea manager.

Reece James

Reece James has been sidelined with a hamstring injury all season and is still recovering after suffering another knock.

Chelsea will hope to have their club captain back in the matchday squad for the first time this season after the international break.

Levi Colwill

Levi Colwill emerged as a potential injury concern for Chelsea during the draw with Forest.

Colwill was substituted in the second half after appearing to be in some discomfort with an unspecified fitness issue. Maresca stated after the game, though, that he did not think the injury was serious.

"I think both [Colwill and Noni Madueke] are ok now that we are inside. We will see but I don't think any problems with them," said Maresca.

Noni Madueke

Noni Madueke also suffered a potential injury blow during the draw with Forest. Madueke was withdrawn in the second half, but Maresca did not seem concerned about the severity of the potential injury.

"I think both [Colwill and Noni Madueke]are ok now that we are inside. We will see but I don't think any problems with them," said Maresca.

Carney Chukwuemeka

Carney Chukwuemeka has missed Chelsea's last two matches against Gent and Forest through illness.

The Blues will hope to have the midfielder available for the clash against Liverpool later this month.

Marc Cucurella

Marc Cucurella picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in the draw with Forest and will serve a one-match suspension.

As a result, the left-back will be unavailable for Chelsea's clash against Liverpool after the international break.

Wesley Fofana

Wesley Fofana also reached the threshold of five bookings during the draw with Forest and will now be banned for one Premier League match.

Fofana will miss the trip to Anfield after the international break before returning in the Europa Conference League a few days later.

Omari Kellyman

Omari Kellyman is still waiting to make his Chelsea debut after arriving from Aston Villa in the summer.

The midfielder is recovering from a hamstring injury he suffered in September and is not expected to return until well after the international break, at the earliest.
