Man Utd crisis meeting: Who's attending and who will decide Erik ten Hag fate?

Manchester United's executive committee are set to hold a meeting in London following the club's 0-0 draw with Aston Villa.

United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who has taken full control of football operations, was at Villa Park on Sunday to watch the team in person for their first time since they were thrashed 3-0 by rivals Liverpool last month.

Manager Erik ten Hag has come under huge pressure since then, with United failing to win any of their last five games across all competitions. In fact, United have picked up just three wins since the start of the new season.

And the Dutchman is now facing crunch talks over his future following United's worst ever start to a Premier League campaign, with Ratcliffe leading a board meeting on Tuesday involving all club chiefs.

Who's attending?

Ratcliffe is part of a three-person committee along with United co-chairman Joel Glazer and INEOS' director of sport Sir Dave Brailsford that make all the big decisions involving the club.

All three will be at the meeting, with Glazer flying in from the United States to attend. Chief executive Omar Berrada, sporting director Dan Ashworth and technical director Jason Wilcox will also be in attendance.

Chief financial officer Roger Bell and chief operating officer Collette Roche are the final two names which make up United's executive committee, which plans to meet once a month to discuss the club's future.

Who will decide Ten Hag's fate?

Ratcliffe, Glazer and Brailsford will ultimately be the ones who decide whether Ten Hag should stay or go, but Berrada, Ashworth and Wilcox will have a big influence.

They are the ones working at the club on a daily basis and Ratcliffe has already admitted he will rely on their recommendations when it comes to the manager's future. When asked if he still had faith in Ten Hag ahead of the Villa game, Ratcliffe told BBC Sport : "At the end of the day it's not my call.

"It's the management team that's running Manchester United that have to decide how we best run the team in many different respects. But that team that's running Manchester United has only been together since June or July. They weren't there in January, February, March or April – [CEO] Omar, Dan Ashworth - they only arrived in July."
