by · The Mirror

Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol meet in Saudi Arabia tonight to determine the best light-heavyweight in the world.

The two world champions have long been on a collision course and will finally settle their rivalry in Riyadh with either Beterbiev's power or Bivol's skill set to determine the outcome. There is also plenty of action on the undercard with several Brits in action, including Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke who meet for the second time this year following their epic draw in May.

Chris Eubank Jr is also on the card and he knows victory over Kamil Szeremeta is vital if he is to confirm a clash with Conor Benn who will be ringside tonight. There is also an outing for the skillful Ben Whittaker as he looks to extend his unbeaten run in the professional ranks. The main event will likely start at around 11pm UK time and can be streamed on DAZN, or you can follow all the action here...

Welcome to the live blog!

Good afternoon fight fans and welcome to Mirror Fighting's live coverage of Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol in what promises to be an epic night of boxing.

The two stars have long been on a collision course and will finally settle their rivalry in Riyadh tonight. WBO, WBC and IBF champion Beterbiev tipped the scales at 12st 7lb.

As for Bivol, the WBA title holder came in a little lighter at 12st 6lb. “I’m always like this,” Bivol told DAZN at the ceremonial weigh-in. “I’m chilled, but I’m focused also. It means a lot, but at the same time I’m trying to forget about everything I went through. I say thank you for everything, for everyone, and now I just focus on Saturday."

“Good, like usually,” Beterbiev responded when asked how he felt. “[My] favorite part is fighting. Like I said, we’ll see. I’m getting ready to fight.”

Beterbiev comes into the blockbuster clash off the back of a seventh round TKO victory against Callum Smith back in January. Meanwhile, Bivol knocked out Malik Zinad in his last outing back in June. It's a real 50/50 fight and boxing fans are certainly in for a real treat this evening.
