As we near the tail-end of the year, a raft of TV and broadband providers are slashing their prices to tempt new customers. One such brand is EE, which is offering savings worth hundreds of pounds with bundles that include TV, sports and superfast fibre broadband.

EE has cut the price of its packed Entertainment plan, which includes premium Sky channels like Sky Atlantic and Sky Max, plus a free Netflix subscription. The package is currently £5 a month for three months – down from the usual £20.

But shoppers can save even more when combining the deal with EE Full Fibre 150 broadband, which delivers speeds up to 149Mbps. This broadband plan is free for three months before it reverts to the usual £33.99, saving £101.97.

For those who can’t get enough sporting action, EE’s Big Sport plan is now £10 for three months – then £45 a month – and includes all 12 Sky Sports channels so you can enjoy the biggest Premier League, EFL and NFL action, as well as Formula 1, golf and cricket. This deal saves £105 and also comes with Discovery+ Premium and TNT Sports – the UK home of every UEFA Champions League and Europa League game – which would usually set you back £30.99 a month when buying direct.

Bagging the Big Sport plan alongside EE’s Full Fibre 150 broadband costs £10 a month for the first three months, saving a whopping £206.97. However, it’s always worth shopping around for the best deal that suits your needs, as other providers regularly update their TV and broadband offerings with new deals.

One such provider is Sky, which offers its own TV and 150Mbps broadband package – which includes more than 200 TV channels and a free Netflix subscription – for £39 a month. Sky has also just brought back a popular promotion for sports fans that’s too good to miss.

The ‘lowest price’ deal has seen the Sky Sports, Sky Stream, Sky TV and Netflix bundle reduced to £43 a month – down from £52 – with Sky throwing in Ultra HD at no extra cost. There is one catch though, as sports fans only have until 11.59am on Monday, September 23, to get this deal.

Doing so saves £216, plus an additional £119.76 with Netflix included for free – a total saving of £335.76 over the 24-month term. The jam-packed Sky Sports bundle gives access to nine dedicated Sky Sports channels and more than 1,400 live football games across the Premier League, EFL and more, plus the NFL, Formula 1 and golf, to name a few.

It also lets you catch the latest blockbuster shows on Sky Atlantic like House of the Dragon and new Batman spin-off, The Penguin, plus everything Netflix has to offer. It does have one minor downside though, as Sky doesn’t air any Champions League or Europa League games.

To tune into the biggest European fixtures this season, TNT Sports is available with Discovery+ via Amazon's Prime Video for £30.99 on a rolling monthly basis.
