On the undercard, Josh Padley caused an upset in the opening fight of the night, ruining Mark Chamberlain's well-laid world title plans by dropping the favourite en-route to a points win. Josh Kelly survived a final-round onslaught from Ishmael Davis to eek out a narrow majority-decision win before Anthony Cacace outpointed Josh Warrington.
Joshua Buatsi dropped Willy Hutchinson twice as he was given the nod on points before Hamzah Sheeraz stopped Tyler Denny in the second round to be crowned European champion. Liam Gallagher also took centre stage, performing three Oasis classics before the main event fighters took to the ring.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani at this evening's event, Conor McGregor confirmed that he will not fight for the UFC this year. He explained: "It will be 2025. We will see. My opponent that i had scheduled... it is what it is. I take it on board and rock on. My job is to go to the gym and be in shape. Whenever it is and wherever it is. I will be 100 per cent ready
"I must get two fights in 2025. It's the promised land." When asked what happens after that, McGregor added: "I don't know. I don't think anyone knows. What happens afterwards, as I'm a free agent, I'm not sure."

We didn't think this one would go the distance, Sheeraz showing incredible precision by knocking down Denny seconds into the first. The undefeated great really ramped the pressure up in the second, connecting with a ruthless uppercut before finishing the fight with yet another patented left hook.
