Chelsea wonderkid made Liverpool star Alisson fume in training - 'Got a bit angry'

Brazil international Estevao Willian will join Chelsea next summer from Palmeiras but is already familiar with some of the Premier League stars he will come up against including Alisson

Chelsea wonderkid Estevao Willian has already angered Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker before even completing his move to the Premier League.

The Brazilian teenager has already agreed a £56million deal to join Chelsea and will arrive next summer having turned 18, in addition to Ecuador sensation Kendry Paez. Estevao has already earned two caps despite his tender age and has a burgeoning, global reputation.

As a result of his international call-up, Estevao has already mixed with some of the world's most prominent players. The youngster featured against Ecuador last month in a team that included Alisson, Arsenal star Gabriel Magalhaes and Real Madrid duo Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.

It appears Estevao has already tested the patience of Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson during training however. The Palmeiras star already has an eye of challenging his compatriot when he arrives in England.

"In shooting training, I started to hit all the shots and Alisson got a bit angry. He said he was still warming up, that I should wait a little bit. But I took it a bit seriously and scored many goals [against] him," Estêvão told the Guardian. "He took it all in jest, but I hope that next year I can do again against him in [Premier League] matches. We’ll see a lot of each other in England."

Estevao has scored 15 goals in 42 appearances this season from the wing and has already dubbed comparisons to Lionel Messi. Dubbed 'Messinho', the star destined for Chelsea has some frustration with the suggestion but appreciates the World Cup winner alongside other superstars.

Estevao plans to look up to Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as he furthers his career in Europe.

"I like Neymar a lot too, Cristiano Ronaldo. But my reference is [Lionel] Messi for everything he’s done for football," Estêvão acknowledged. "The way he plays and what he does off the pitch is a guy I always have to look up to. And, of course, for me being left-footed like him favours as well.

"Some people are born with talent, others have to work hard. Good examples are Messi and Ronaldo. Messi has the talent, Ronaldo the effort. I look for both. Talent and dedication. Today in football you have to dedicate yourself, you have to keep to a schedule, train, travel, take care of yourself. You have to give up a lot. Without dedication you can’t get anywhere.”
