Welsh snooker superstar Mark Williams has dazzled fans after making an unbelievable jump shot during a Chinese exhibition match.

Known for his flair and wizardry on the green baize, the three-time world champion last showed off his trickshot prowess professionally during the nail-biting Saudi Arabia Masters final - where he narrowly lost out on a lucrative prize 10-9 to Judd Trump.

Williams, a maverick on the table, has not limited his skills to just snooker, however, as he's graced the Ultimate Pool circuit in the past and doesn't hide his affection for Chinese eight-ball.

It was playing the latter that Williams pulled off the latest addition to his highlight reel, which saw those in attendance erupt into a cacophony of cheers.

Williams' feat came during a captivating eight-ball pool exhibition against fellow snooker ace Cao Yupeng - who has been ranked as high as world No. 35 on the WST.

With only the black left to pot and a pink in the way that seemed impossible to bypass, the Welshman wowed onlookers by jumping the cue ball over the pink to sink the black in style. The jaw-dropping move sent fans into a frenzy, erupting as Williams looked on at the camera in disbelief at his successful shot.

Posting the make that was live-streamed to thousands of stunned viewers, Williams captioned it on X: "Just a quick jump shot live in China." Comments flooded in under his post, with one fan saying: "I love how you're equally surprised and chuffed at this. Superb shot!"

Another chimed in with accolades, saying: "There is no end to your talents Willo! Brilliant," and another fan suggested a fun future for the star: "This is where your future lies. Everyone having a few beers and celebrating a great shot like it's football."

Despite not having the strongest start to the season, Williams' run to the final in Saudi Arabia bagged him £200,000. As a result, he stands at World No. 7 and is currently third on the one-year list.

He was inches from claiming the top £500,000 prize in Riyadh, however, narrowly missing a red while 62 to the good in the final frame, the score tied 9-9.

"I didn't play my best all week, to be honest," Williams admitted after his defeat last month. "Then I got to the final and towards the end it was probably the best the both of us [Williams and opponent Trump] have played.

"It was a fantastic game, we didn't play well to be honest from the start but towards the end it was really good and I nearly had a good break in that last one. £100,000 goes to her (Williams' wife) and £100,000 goes to the tax man.

"I didn't play really good all week to be honest, I am a trier, I'll stick in and try my best, I have got to the final 9-9 and 62 in front - that's a whisker and I nearly won it. I didn't really do anything wrong, towards the end of that match was probably the best both of us have played."
