Rasmus Hojlund copped criticism from some fans for a post he put on social media following Manchester United's draw in Porto as he issued a response to those supporters

The Red Devils showed the best and the worst of themselves as they were held in Portugal. They begun their Europa League clash in the best possible way, scoring twice in the first 20 minutes before conceding three unanswered goals as their defensive flaws were exposed.
Hojlund scored United's second on his return from a lengthy injury lay off. The Dane is into his second season and more is expected of him following an indifferent debut campaign. He finished smartly from an acute angle before then joking about the aftermath on social media. He put up a picture of him and captioned the post: "Luckily I had 6 weeks to practice my celebration. A win would've made it perfect."
However several United fans were angered by his post and some criticised Hojlund following what was a poor performance in Porto, which heaped further pressure on Erik ten Hag. Only a Harry Maguire equaliser in stoppage time spared his blushes. Hojlund did not delete the post but has since responded to angry supporters on his Instagram story.
He wrote: "I've seen some anger about my post of yesterday. I never intended that... I was only happy to be back out there on the scoresheet again after a tough few weeks where I couldn't play and score. Obviously we go for the win and I will give everything to make you guys happy, sorry yesterday's post was not the case. Let's move on, getting ready to give everything again on Sunday."
United's last Premier League outing saw them lost 3-0 at home to Tottenham, leaving them with seven points from six games. Their next assignment is a daunting trip to Aston Villa, who just enjoyed a memorable European night as they downed Bayern Munich. Ten Hag knows that results must improve if he is to remain in his post with pressure mounting on the Dutchman. Despite that the ex-Ajax boss has continued to ooze defiance and believes his team, bolstered by summer recruits, will come good.
He said: "We will get there. Don't judge us in this moment, judge us at the end of the season. We are in the process, we will improve. We have two seasons now where we achieve finals, (so) just wait. We have to develop and progress this team. We will work and continue and we will fight."
