Taylor Swift flew to Kansas City for a surprise visit to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, in an attempt to distract him from his disappointing start to the new NFL season. The Chiefs tight end has had a lacklustre performance in his first three games, managing only eight catches for 69 yards and no touchdowns.

Despite this, the 34 year old seems to be maintaining a positive attitude, with his famous girlfriend providing a welcome distraction from his on-field struggles.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple spent a few days together in Missouri following the Chiefs' recent game in Atlanta. Kelce's performance was subdued against the Falcons, with four catches for 30 yards contributing to a 22-17 victory on the road.

After the game, it was reported that Swift flew into Kansas City to spend time with Kelce at his lavish $6 million mansion. The couple also enjoyed a dinner date at the exclusive Noka restaurant, reportedly "shutting down" the Japanese eatery for the evening as they enjoyed a romantic meal, as revealed by the "Deux Moi" podcast.

After spending a brief period together, Swift reportedly jetted off to Nashville, Tennessee, before heading to St. Louis, Missouri, for a family wedding, reports the Mirror US. Meanwhile, Kelce seems unfazed by the chatter about his recent form, maintaining a positive outlook on his performances.

In a chat with his brother Jason Kelce on "New Heights", the younger of the two confessed: "I've had a lot of catches in this league, man. I'm not worried about the catches and the yards, and all of that. I have the most fun when I get the ball thrown my way, I mean, who doesn't? ".

"It has everything to do with execution and just making sure we're doing everything we can to win these football games, that's always going to be the goal. I think everyone saw my drop in the fourth quarter and the crucial third down, just trying to do too much before putting the ball away."

"That's probably the biggest thing for me is making the play in big-time moments like that. I think with how defenses are playing us right now, I'm not really getting a lot of opportunities to make plays down the field, but [I'm] not using that as an excuse."

Kelce continued: "'Moving forward, still trying to make sure I can help the team out in that regard knowing I've been that weapon for us in the past... everyone's just tweaking their game in the right direction."
