Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been dating since last year and while they keep their relationship out of the spotlight, some fans think they've spotted a 'red flag'

Taylor Swift fans were left scratching their heads after a deep dive into Travis Kelce's social media raised eyebrows.

Although the lovebirds have been making waves ever since they came out as an item last year, with moments like Taylor's heartfelt song verses about their bond, that memorable Super Bowl smooch, and their adorable outings together, fans just can't seem to get enough of their fairy-tale romance.

This dynamic duo weren't shy about rooting for each other's triumphs either – Taylor being a fixture at many of Kelce's NFL showdowns and Travis belting out tunes at Taylor's Eras tour. However, the conundrum that has left Swifties utterly perplexed is why Travis seems to be MIA from his lady's online love life.

With an Instagram following of a huge 6.8 million Travis frequently posts highlights from his football career, his endorsements, and chuckle-worthy bits from the podcast he co-hosts with his brother and fellow football celebrity Jason Kelce. But, there seems to be a conspicuous void when it comes to sharing anything about his romantic life.

Sharp-eyed netizens didn't hold back in pointed out that Travis does not follow Taylor on social media, despite following 1,589 other Instagram users. They took to X (formerly Twitter) and one blatantly put it: "Now don't get me wrong. I love Taylor Swift.

"I have since her debut album. But absolutely NOTHING about the 'relationship' has made sense to me. Travis doesn’t even follow her on Instagram lmao."

"Wait- Travis doesn't follow Taylor on Instagram? ," one individual said.

One other commented: "But Travis Kelce is still not following Taylor Swift on Instagram? I'm curious why though? Well obviously she don't follow anyone but he can follow anyone he likes right?! Did he explain why?"

However, another voice emerged in the athlete's defence, and said: "I see more Travis Kelce haters complaining about the fact that he doesn’t follow Taylor Swift on Instagram than I see actual fans complaining about it. sorry he probably shows love and affection in real life instead of through a phone. I know that’s a foreign concept for most of you."

Taylor herself steers clear of following anyone on Instagram, despite a massive following of 283 million fans. She frequently delights them with posts showcasing concerts, announcements, magazine cover stories, and behind-the-scenes snippets.

The superstar was recently captured with Brittany Mahomes, wife of NFL icon Patrick Mahomes, cradling her baby bump while clutching a cup emblazoned with Travis' '87' jersey number at an event. And after a victorious game for Travis' team against the Saints, the pair were set to jet back to New York City.

But Travis caused a stir by arriving late to the airport, with the Daily Mail reporting his rushed appearance as he dashed to board the plane.
