Boxing star Tyson Fury has been seen filming in a town centre near Greater Manchester ahead of his highly anticipated rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.

The 36-year-old former heavyweight world champion was spotted strolling through Northwich town centre in Cheshire, accompanied by a film crew. Fury, a father-of-six, was dressed in a stylish tweed overcoat and matching flat cap as he filmed on Saturday, September 28th.

It is thought that Fury was filming a promotional video for his upcoming rematch with Usyk, scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia this December. A bystander reported: "Tyson's driver told us that they were filming for a 90 second commercial promoting the upcoming Tyson/Usyk fight.

"He said the scenes would involve the two fighters having flashbacks and nightmares, looking over the last few decades as they approach the fight."

Fury is currently gearing up for his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk later this year. The Ukrainian made history by becoming the first to defeat 'The Gyspy King', clinching a split-decision victory in Riyadh last May.

With this win, the 37-year-old became the first boxer to be named undisputed king of the heavyweight division since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

The pivotal moment in their initial bout occurred in the ninth round when Usyk delivered several sharp blows that seemed to almost knock Fury out. The Brit was left significantly shaken and was rescued by the bell, leading many to believe that the match should've been halted.

Following this painful loss, 'The Gyspy King' has returned to the drawing board, aiming to redeem himself against the Ukrainian.

With just two months left until the highly anticipated rematch, Fury has previously shared his training camp hadn't commenced, claiming a mere few weeks are necessary for him to prepare for the bout. When questioned on his training progress for the upcoming fight, his relaxed response was: "I haven't started training yet."

He added: "I won't go into camp for a good while. I think I've got 13 weeks today until my fight. So, I'll probably start training in about six weeks for it. I do about six/seven weeks training for these fights usually and I'll be ready to rock and roll on the night. Roll on December 21, come on!"
