Michael Schumacher could soon be in attendance at another family wedding after reportedly making his first public appearance in nearly 11 years.

The Formula One legend is said to have been present at his daughter Gina's nuptials to Iain Bethke. The ceremony took place at Schumacher's opulent villa in Majorca, near Port d'Andratx.

The 55-year-old former racing driver has been out of the public eye since suffering serious brain injuries from a skiing accident in Grenoble back in December 2013, which led to him being placed in a medically induced coma for several months. He returned to his home by Lake Geneva in September 2014, where he has since been under the care of his wife Corinna and medical professionals, with his family choosing to keep details of his condition private.

Reports suggest that Schumacher was able to join the intimate wedding celebration of his 27-year-old daughter. Mobile phones were collected at the door to maintain privacy, and the local news outlet Ultima Hora reported that the service lasted about half an hour.

No press were allowed on site; however, Gina shared an image of herself and her groom post-service, captioning it: "Forever yes to you, yes forever," reports the Express.

In further happy news for the Schumacher family, Michael's son and current F1 driver Mick Schumacher has just got engaged to his long-time girlfriend Laila Hasanovic.

Lingerie model Gina Schumacher, daughter of F1 legend Michael Schumacher's manager, has hinted at her engagement to Mick Schumacher, son of the racing icon. She posted a photo of a ring on her finger on Instagram, captioning it "Then it's game over."

However, Mick, 25, has yet to confirm the news on social media. Despite his personal life taking a positive turn, his racing career is facing uncertainty. After being dropped by Haas in 2022, he has been serving as a reserve driver for Mercedes and is unlikely to secure a frontline seat in 2025.

He had been in the running for a spot at Sauber, but chief technical officer Matt Binotto appears to have ruled him out, with Valtteri Bottas set to be offered an extended deal instead.
