Nathan Ake will likely start for Manchester City in Portugal against Sporting Lisbon

Doku, Savinho, Stones - Man City injury latest and return dates

by · Manchester Evening News

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola remains concerned with the fitness of several members of his squad ahead of the Champions League tie against Sporting Lisbon.

City are certain to be without five players with defensive pair John Stones and Ruben Dias sidelined for Tuesday night while Jack Grealish, Rodri and Oscar Bobb are also sidelined. The likes of Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake are still not fully fit while Kyle Walker, Jeremy Doku, Savinho and Kevin De Bruyne were involved in the squad against Bournemouth but are still not 100 per cent.

It means Guardiola's options to rotate his squad in Portugal are relatively slim. With that in mind we take a look at the injury latest at the Etihad.
