Will Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson be cancelled? What we know ahead of the fight
by Matthew Abbott · Manchester Evening NewsJake Paul and Mike Tyson continue to countdown ahead of their belated boxing match on 15 November.
Nine months after the fight's announcement in March and 16 weeks later than initially billed, they are now closer than ever to finally meeting in the ring. The almost four-month delay from the 20 July date is because of an ulcer flare up that Tyson is said to have suffered.
Medical professionals recommended the former world heavyweight champion only do minimal to light training over the following weeks while resting and recovering. That reduced his training time to prepare for the fight, which was behind the delay, but Tyson has since returned to his full schedule before his scheduled return to the ring.

Over recent weeks, both fighters have been sharing regular updates from their training camps across social media. Promotion for the event continues, with two massive inflatables of Paul and Tyson erected in New York on Monday.
A three-part documentary series called Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson, which is said to feature behind-the-scenes footage from the fighters' training camps, is also due to premiere on Netflix this week. The streaming service made merchandise available in the Flatiron District for fans who went to see the inflatables.
Paul reminded his followers only yesterday that tickets are still available with the ticket platform SeatGeek, suggesting that thousands still need to be sold at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Some are available for as little as £38.50 ($50), including fees, with the most expensive VVIP package costing £16,376 ($21,264).
Earlier this year, they cancelled the fight exactly 50 days before it was due to happen. With the new date now only ten days away, it appears that the boxing match will go ahead.
