NPFL: Abdullahi relishes Rangers’ victory over Ikorodu City

by · Daily Post

Rangers goalkeeper, Lucky Abdullahi says the victory over Ikorodu City is a good way to make up for the CAF Champions League elimination.

The Flying Antelopes defeated Ikorodu City 1-0 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, on Wednesday.

Chinemerem Ugwueze grabbed the lone goal in the game.

Abdullahi believed that the eight-time NPFL champions were capable of lifting the title again.

“The victory over Ikorodu City meant a lot to us because we lost our continental game and we came to Lagos to fight for the maximum points,” Abdullahi stated in a post-match interview.

“I believe we have the capability of lifting the NPFL title once again this season.”

Rangers will take on Remo Stars in their next NPFL game.
