The UFC 307 pay-per-view fight card is nearly upon us. The ESPN+ streaming PPV card takes place on Saturday, October 5, from Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. In the headlining scrap, UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira puts his title on the line against Khalil Rountree Jr.

In the co-main event, UFC women’s bantamweight titleholder Raquel Pennington puts faces former champion Julianna Pena in a title fight.

Also on the main card is a bantamweight bout between ex-UFC featherweight kingpin Jose Aldo and Mario Bautista. Before those contests, two-time PFL women’s lightweight tournament winner Kayla Harrison faces Ketlen Vieira in an important bantamweight scrap that could determine the next opponent of the winner of the Pennington vs. Pena scrap.

When the UFC first announced UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira against Khalil Rountree Jr, the champ was a -500 betting favorite over the challenger, who came in as the +360 betting underdog. Today, Pereira is listed at -450 and Rountree at +340.

When the odds first dropped for the UFC 307 co-main event, Raquel Pennington was the -185 betting favorite. Today, the champ is listed at -150. Jessica Pena opened at +150. Today, the ex-champ is +125.

Like the main event, the champ has picked up most of the bets (62 percent) and money (53 percent).

The betting pick is for Pennington to retain her title via decision.

UFC 307: Jose Aldo vs. Mario Bautista

Jose Aldo opened as a +130 betting underdog to Mario Bautista (-160) when their bantamweight bout was announced. Aldo has improved slightly to +115, but Bautista is still the betting favorite at -140.

The biggest betting favorite when UFC 307 odds were first announced, Kayla Harrison has become an even bigger favorite as fight night nears. Harrison was -77, and is now -1100. Her opponent, Ketlen Vieira has moved from +525 to +700.

With the odds being what they are, bettors are looking for value in this matchup. Vieira has 83 percent of the bets and 80 percent of the handle.

The betting pick is for Harrison to win via stoppage.

The opening fight on the UFC 307 pay-per-view is a middleweight scrap between Roman Dolidze and Kevin Holland. Holland was the -165 favorite at opening and Dolidze was the +140 betting underdog. Today, Holland is -145 and Dolidze comes in at +120.

Dolidze has 53 percent of the wagers, but Holland has 61 percent of the handle.
