Last time an international match took place in the city, Sachin Tendulkar etched his name in the history books by becoming the first player to score a double century in One Day Internationals. However, Roop Singh Stadium was the venue that hosted that match, whereas Madhavrao Scindia stadium will host its first international match with the IND vs BAN T20I.

The pitch is expected to favour the batters and will remain similar throughout the course of the game.

Coming to the head-to-head records, India and Bangladesh have locked horns on 13 occasions in the T20Is. India have a near-perfect record against the neighbours as they have won 12 times and Bangladesh have managed to win just 1 match out of the 13.
