Top college football predictions for Week 7

One of the top college football picks Marshall is recommending for Week 7: He's backing No. 7 Alabama (-21.5) to cover at home against South Carolina in a noon ET kickoff.

This might be a rare buy-low opportunity on Alabama after the Tide were stunned by Vanderbilt in Nashville last week. It was just two weeks ago that Alabama beat Georgia in Tuscaloosa in a game where the Tide led by as many as 28, so the upside is still massive for Alabama despite last week's stumble.

South Carolina, meanwhile, had shown signs of being a team that could be in the SEC mix earlier in the season, but the Gamecocks fell completely flat last week in a 27-3 loss at home against Ole Miss. Marshall expects Alabama to refocus after its embarrassment at Vanderbilt and likes the Tide, a team that is on a 13-7 run against the spread dating back to 2022.
