India captain Rohit Sharma was left unimpressed by Axar Patel's imitation of MS Dhoni during the episode of the Kapil Sharma show. The Indian team that won the 2024 T20 World Cup made a special appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, now streaming on Netflix. Representing the team were captain Rohit Sharma, along with Axar Patel, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube and Arshdeep Singh who were warmly received and honoured by the audience.

Host and comedian Kapil Sharma had lighthearted and fun conversations with the cricketers, including a humorous mimicry segment. In this game, Rohit had to guess the name of a cricketer based on Axar's acting. The first placard featured MS Dhoni, but Axar struggled to mimic him effectively.

Suryakumar Yadav then jumped in and "rescued" the situation by performing Dhoni’s signature helicopter shot, prompting Rohit to quickly guess Dhoni’s name. Rohit jokingly criticised Axar for not using the helicopter shot sooner, much to the amusement of the audience.

"Helicopter ghuma na (Use the helicopter shot.)," said Rohit.

The room erupted in laughter as the cricketers and guests enjoyed the playful exchange, with Rohit’s witty responses keeping the atmosphere fun and light.

Rohit will now preparing himself for the New Zealand Test series, where he will be leading the team. After this, the Indian captain and his side will travel to Australia for the 5-Test Border Gavaskar Trophy.

"No, he doesn't forget the name. He forgets the coin itself," Suryakumar added.
