Babar Azam yet again failed to reach fifty on Day 1 of the 1st Test between Pakistan and England in Multan on October 7, Monday. Babar's lean streak continued as this was his 16th Test innings with a half-century. On what was looking like a belter pitch with Pakistan captain Shan Masood and opener Abdullah Shafique scoring hundreds, Babar couldn't capitalise on his start. A certain section of fans on social media slammed Babar Azam for his horror run in Test cricket.

Babar walked out to bat after Shan Masood was dismissed at 151 by Jack Leach in 63rd over. There were expectations that some runs would come off Babar's bat, knowing it was a flat track with nothing on offer from the pitch. Nonetheless, he was dismissed at 30 by Chris Woakes, who set the batter up on the outside edge of the previous ball and then with an inside edge. He fell in the penultimate over of the day as Pakistan scored 328/4 on Day 1 at stumps.

Here is how the fans reacted to Babar's dismissal-
