Australia cricketers unanimously agreed ahead of the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy that Rishabh Pant was the biggest sledger from the Indian team. In a hilarious video on Star Sports, Australia cricketers Travis Head, Marnus Labuschagne and Usman Khawaja called Rishabh a funny man and spoke about his antics from behind the wicket.

Pant, who has toured Australia twice for the BGT, will once again be in focus later in November when the bilateral series begins. The wicketkeeper-batter has been one of India's biggest match-winners in the red-ball format and the onus will once again be on him to deliver away from home.

In the Star Sports video, the Australian trio chose Pant as the biggest sledger from the Indian team and said that most of the time, what Pant says does not make any sense to them. However, the trio agreed that the Indian youngster was always funny.

BGT 2018-19: Best Sledging Moments

In the same video, Pant clarified that he never sledges with a particular purpose but does it because he enjoys it. He also revealed that during the team's meeting with the Australian Prime Minister, even the PM recognised him, saying, "You're the one who sledges."

One of Pant's famous sledges came in the 2018-19 BGT, when he took on then-Australia captain Tim Paine and mocked him by calling him the 'temporary captain'.

"We have got a special guest here. Have you heard the word temporary captain ever? You [Jadeja] don't need anything to get him out. Come on lads. He loves to talk, that's the only thing he can do. Only talking talking," Pant sledged from behind the stumps which was picked up by the stump mic.

However, it all ended on a good note between Pant and Paine as the Australian captain’s wife posed for a photograph with the India wicketkeeper, calling him ‘the best babysitter’.

The Indian team is expected to arrive in Australia in the first week of November. The team will play a few tour games and then play the showpiece 5-match Test series.
