Axar Patel has found his way back into the Indian T20I team in the opening T20I against South Africa on Friday, November 8 at the Kingsmead in Durban. The spin-bowling all-rounder did not take part in the T20Is against Najmul Hossain Shanto’s Bangladesh that India won 3-0.

Axar last played in the T20I series against Sri Lanka where he scored 10 runs and picked up four wickets from two matches. The 30-year-old was also a part of the Indian team that won the Men’s T20 World Cup in the West Indies and USA.
